Vinification
The cuvée is a blend of Chardonnay and Savagnin grown on the clay-limestone soils of the Jura. Part of the wine is aged in barrels with air contact, giving it the characteristic oxidative nuance typical of the region. The style reflects Domaine Rolet's terroir philosophy — a balance between freshness and complexity.
Winery Story
Domaine Rolet is one of the largest and most respected estates in the Jura, founded in 1942 by the Rolet family. Across several generations the estate has remained faithful to the traditional Jura varieties and winemaking styles. Today the domaine farms more than 60 hectares of vineyards scattered across the region's finest appellations.
Vineyard Story
The vineyards lie on the clay-limestone and blue-marl soils characteristic of the Jura, which give the wines bright minerality and structure. Savagnin and Chardonnay are perfectly adapted to the local climate, with its continental features, and lend the blends a typical Jura individuality. The Côtes du Jura terroir provides the high natural acidity that is so vital to the wines' longevity.
