Vinification
The wine is made from Pinot Noir from the Côtes de Nuits Villages appellation — one of Burgundy's reliable entry-level appellations. Classic Burgundian vinification with gentle extraction and ageing in oak barrels. The style is light and drinkable, focused on fruit purity and varietal expression.
Winery Story
Chapuis & Chapuis is a small Burgundian estate working in the family-winemaking traditions of the Côte de Nuits. The producers focus on terroir expression and a classic Burgundian style at an accessible price point. Their approach combines respect for tradition with attention to quality at every stage of production.
Vineyard Story
The Côtes de Nuits Villages appellation covers vineyards at the northern and southern edges of the famous Côte de Nuits, including the communes of Fixin, Brochon, Comblanchien, Corgoloin and Premeaux-Prissey. The soils are limestone-clay with the marl admixture characteristic of Burgundy, providing minerality and freshness. A moderate continental climate lets Pinot Noir keep an elegant acidity.
