Vinification
The cuvée is built in the style of Breton Cabernet Franc — light, fresh, with an emphasis on fruit and a herbal character. Minimal extraction preserves the liveliness and drinkability of the wine. The name refers to the classic Loire style adapted to Fruška Gora.
Winery Story
Sagmeister is a small Serbian winery working on the slopes of Fruška Gora. The producer aims to create expressive, terroir-driven wines with minimal intervention through the production process. The winery pays particular attention to varietal identity and a fresh style.
Vineyard Story
Fruška Gora is a hilly massif in Vojvodina in northern Serbia, with a moderately continental climate and varied soils: loess, clay and loam. These conditions favour the preservation of acidity and the subtle aromatics of Cabernet Franc. Relatively cool nights lengthen the growing season and enrich the variety's herbal and fruit nuances.
