Vinification
The wine is made from Muscat in the Catalan region by the small estate Celler 9+. Winemaking aims at preserving the variety's aromatic purity and freshness with minimal intervention. Fermentation at controlled temperature lets the floral and citrus notes of Muscat stand out.
Winery Story
Celler 9+ is a small Catalan estate working in a spirit of minimal intervention and respect for the terroir. The producer favours autochthonous and aromatic varieties that reflect the Mediterranean character of the region. The estate is known for its experimental approach and its attention to ecological viticulture.
Vineyard Story
The vineyards lie in Catalonia, where a Mediterranean climate of hot summers and mild winters creates ideal conditions for the Muscat grape. Limestone and clay soils give the wine a mineral backbone, while the proximity of the sea ensures freshness and a balance of acidity. The terroir favours early ripening and the build-up of aromatic compounds in the berry.
