Vinification
The cuvée is a Bordeaux blend of three classic varieties grown on Fruška Gora. Oak ageing adds structure while preserving freshness and fruit character.
Winery Story
Chichateau is a small Serbian winery located in the Fruška Gora region, known for its historic vineyards on the slopes of the eponymous mountain range. The producer takes a boutique approach, with an emphasis on expressing the local terroir through international varieties. The name 'Fabula lagum' refers to a Latin tradition rooted in the region's rich winemaking history.
Vineyard Story
Fruška Gora is a national park and one of Serbia's oldest viticultural areas, located in the Vojvodina province. A moderately continental climate with the influence of the Danube provides enough coolness to preserve acidity and aromatic freshness. Loess-clay soils give the wines a characteristic minerality and soft tannic structure.
