Vinification
A light natural pink-red style from Christian Tschida, an innovative winemaker from Burgenland. The grapes are grown biodynamically; the vinification is minimalist — with minimal intervention and low sulfur doses or none at all. The aim is to convey the liveliness of the terroir and varietal purity.
Winery Story
Christian Tschida is one of Austria's most influential natural winemakers, working on the shores of Lake Neusiedl in Burgenland. His approach is built on strict biodynamic farming and complete non-intervention in the cellar. Tschida's wines are prized around the world for their precision, tension and unique sense of place.
Vineyard Story
The vineyards lie in the unique microclimate of Burgenland near Lake Neusiedl, which creates a particular humidity and temperature variation. The soils are mainly limestone and loam, providing pronounced minerality and freshness. Blaufränkisch and Pinot Noir on this terroir yield light, aromatically complex wines with a delicate structure.
