Vinification
The cuvée is made from Furmint, Scheurebe and Riesling grown in Claus Preisinger's biodynamic estate in Burgenland. The winemaking is minimalist: fermentation on wild yeasts and minimal cellar intervention. The wine has a fresh, playful style with bright acidity and fruit expressiveness.
Winery Story
Claus Preisinger is one of the key figures of Austrian natural winemaking, working in the Burgenland region. He moved to biodynamic farming in the early 2000s and became an icon of natural winemaking, known for his bold labels and a non-interventionist philosophy. His wines stand out for their purity, energy and the living character of the terroir.
Vineyard Story
The vineyards lie in Burgenland on the shore of Lake Neusiedl, where the continental climate with warm days and cool nights ensures excellent ripening and the preservation of acidity. The soils are varied: loam, gravel and limestone, lending the wines a mineral backbone. Biodynamic farming with no synthetic inputs lets the character of the place come through precisely.
