Vinification
A light, fresh natural-style wine made from a blend of Merlot, Gamay and Syrah, with an emphasis on fruit and drinkability. Partial or full carbonic maceration is used to preserve the brightness of the red fruit. Minimal intervention, low sulfur levels.
Winery Story
Le Raisin et L'Ange is a small natural négociant from the Rhône valley, working with small vineyards under organic and biodynamic farming. The estate aims to create lively, expressive wines with minimal cellar intervention. Their cuvées stand out for their approachability, freshness and an honest reflection of the terroir.
Vineyard Story
The fruit for this cuvée comes from vineyards in the southern Rhône valley, where the warm Mediterranean climate is moderated by night-time temperature swings. The combination of Merlot, Gamay and Syrah achieves a balance between structure, aromatics and freshness. The soils are mainly clay-limestone with gravelly inclusions.
