Vinification

The BB cuvée from Partida Creus is a natural wine from Bobal, made with minimal intervention. Fermentation runs on wild yeasts with no or very little added sulfur. The style is light and drinkable, with an emphasis on freshness and the expression of the terroir.

Winery Story

Partida Creus is the project of Massimo Marchiori and Antonella Gerosa, an Italian architect couple from Piedmont who settled in the village of Bonastre (Baix Penedès) in 2000. They revive near-extinct native Catalan grape varieties and make vivid natural wines without additives; each cuvée carries a two-letter name.

Vineyard Story

Partida Creus's vineyards lie in the dry Penedès region of Catalonia, at altitude on lean soils. Bobal — a variety traditionally associated with Valencia and La Mancha — yields light, fresh wines here thanks to the cool terroir. All vines are tended without chemicals, in line with biodynamic principles.
