Vinification
VN is a field blend of rare, almost-forgotten Catalan autochthonous grapes, co-fermented and aged with minimal intervention. Vinification is done with no added sulfur or only minimal amounts, characteristic of Partida Creus's style. The aim is to convey the terroir as precisely as possible while preserving a living, unfiltered texture in the wine.
Winery Story
Partida Creus is the project of Massimo Marchiori and Antonella Gerosa, an Italian architect couple from Piedmont who settled in the village of Bonastre (Baix Penedès) in 2000. They revive near-extinct native Catalan grape varieties and make vivid natural wines without additives; each cuvée carries a two-letter name.
Vineyard Story
The vineyards lie in the hilly Penedès on limestone-clay soils at around 400 metres above sea level. Partida Creus cultivates extremely rare Catalan autochthonous grapes — many of them on the brink of extinction — applying biodynamic practices without irrigation or synthetic fertilisers. The terroir is marked by a Mediterranean climate with significant altitude influence, lending the wines freshness and pronounced minerality.
