Vinification
Recaredo's Brut Nature Cava is made by the traditional method with extended lees ageing (at least 30 months) and no dosage liqueur added. The wine is produced from organically and biodynamically farmed grapes from Penedès vineyards. The lack of dosage highlights the purity of terroir and the natural acidity of native varieties.
Winery Story
Recaredo is a family winery in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, in the heart of Penedès, founded in 1924. The estate is one of the pioneers of biodynamic farming in Catalonia and one of the few Cava producers working without added sulfur. Recaredo consistently champions terroir-driven, vintage-dated Cavas of the highest quality.
Vineyard Story
Recaredo's vineyards lie on the limestone plateau of Penedès at 200–300 metres above sea level. Biodynamic farming without synthetic fertilisers or pesticides keeps the soil alive and lets the terroir speak. The name 'Terres' ('lands') reflects the estate's philosophy — to express the character of a specific place through native Catalan varieties.
