Vinification
Valdicava's Brunello comes from the estate's vineyards on the cooler northern slope of Montalcino. Traditional vinification with long maceration and ageing in large Slavonian oak casks; 2015 is a celebrated vintage of great structure and longevity.
Winery Story
Tenuta Valdicava, run by the Abbruzzese family since 1953, is one of Montalcino's most revered traditional estates — its Brunello and Madonna del Piano Riserva are collector benchmarks.
Vineyard Story
Vineyard parcels in Toscana provide the fruit; soils and local climate shape the texture and balance you find in the glass.
