Vinification
Brut Réserve from Bérêche & Fils is a multi-vintage assemblage with a high proportion of reserve wines (up to 40%) aged in old barrels and amphorae. The minimal dosage highlights the purity of the terroirs of Montagne de Reims and the Vallée de la Marne. The Bérêche family farms organically and biodynamically, avoiding excess cellar intervention.
Winery Story
The family house of Bérêche & Fils, founded in the village of Ludes, is run today by brothers Raphaël and Vincent Bérêche. The house has earned wide recognition as one of the finest récoltants-manipulants in Champagne, combining biodynamic farming with minimal cellar intervention. Their wines are considered a benchmark of the new generation of terroir Champagne.
Vineyard Story
The vineyards lie on the chalk slopes of Montagne de Reims and in the Vallée de la Marne, where a cool climate and chalk-rich soils produce a characteristic minerality and high acidity. The vines are tended biodynamically and the harvest is done by hand, preserving the energy and vivacity of each plot.
