Vinification
A multi-vintage assemblage carrying a high proportion of reserve wines (up to 50%), aged in oak barrels. The minimal extra-brut dosage highlights natural acidity and terroir precision. Extended lees ageing brings depth and complexity.
Winery Story
Bruno Paillard founded his house in 1981, becoming the youngest independent founder of a Champagne house in the modern history of the region. The house is known for its commitment to transparency — every bottle carries its disgorgement date, a rarity in Champagne. Paillard's style is marked by elegance, freshness and precise balance.
Vineyard Story
Grapes for the 1er Cuvée assemblage come from the best plots in Montagne de Reims, Côte des Blancs and Vallée de la Marne. The chalk soils provide the characteristic minerality and high natural acidity. A diversity of terroirs allows complexity and balance to be achieved in every assemblage.
