Vinification
The cuvée 'Clos de la Carbonade' is the Borgeot monopole vineyard, made in a Burgundian style with partial ageing in oak barrels to add structure while preserving freshness. Minimal intervention highlights the terroir character of the plot.
Winery Story
Domaine P&L Borgeot is a family winery in Remigny (Côte Chalonnaise), founded by Pierre and Laurence Borgeot. The estate specialises in Burgundian terroir wines, with particular attention to precise expression of individual plots and the varietal purity of Chardonnay.
Vineyard Story
Clos de la Carbonade is an enclosed monopole vineyard belonging exclusively to Domaine Borgeot. The plot lies on the limestone and clay soils of the Côte Chalonnaise, which provide the characteristic chalky minerality and lively acidity typical of the subregion.
